OnStage Woodward Policy Statement

On Stage Woodward recognizes several factors must be considered during the programming selection process.

These factors include:

1)      The audience

2)      Program subject matter

3)      Program content

4)      Program relevance

5)      Program quality

6)      Diversity of the community

On Stage Woodward strives to provide a wide range of theatre experiences to our community.  We realize that every production selected may not be suitable for specific individuals or groups of individuals.  Promotional material and specific information on the suitability of the production for children will be available at the time each production is chosen.  We will use the current television rating system in our promotional materials to provide a quick and easy guide for the community.

We believe this approach will provide our audiences the information required to determine if a production is consistent with their individual tastes, while allowing diversification of program content without undo editing the author’s original interpretation of the subject matter.
